Samantha Sewell is an up-and-coming, award-winning film and literary writer. She has a B.A. in Psychology and an M.F.A in Film from UCLA. Her film work has received accolades from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, BlueCat Screenplay, the Ron A. Baham Memorial Fellowship, among others. Her prose and fiction has been recognized by a variety of indie literary outlets, including Worms Magazine, Dream Boy Book Club, and others. In 2024 she published a short fiction book, THERE IS NO ESCAPE. (Mother Mercury Press).

In addition to writing, Samantha enjoys making experimental videos. Day-to-day Samantha works as an Education Assistant and Production Coordinator for Reel Works.
